when ciann (pronounced key'-in) murphy lets out his flat to american sarah mercer in kiss of the irish he is hopeful that the light flirtation that existed in their messages about the flat will turn into something more.

when he meets sarah it's safe to say that she exceeds his expectations. sarah knew that it was time to break away from her need to please everyone else in her life. she's always chosen the safe path. her art history major instead of a fine arts one. her relationship with ross. her apartment in boston. the furniture in the apartment. everything in her life has been a compromise.

but when she is left by her ex-fiancé for a stripper, she thinks maybe it's time to liven things up. first stop is taking the trip of a lifetime to ireland. second stop, well, she's still figuring that out.

as she starts spending time with the people she meets in ireland, she realizes that it's okay to live for herself. she doesn't need to worry about what people will think or do. if they love her, they will just want her happiness. being with ciann makes her happy. the romance between them grows pretty quickly, but this story is as much about sarah finding love with ciann as it is about sarah learning to love and trust herself. it's a short, sweet and sexy read.

simply catching up on all things general hospital
