the last tate brother continues the tangle with the de santis family, this time kidnapping youngest daughter olivia in the name of completing his mission. in the undercover billionaire, wolf discovers that everything he’s ever been told is a lie and the mission he’s on isn’t as noble as he imagined it to be.

for all the suspense and sex, these books are surprisingly cerebral. and i enjoy that we get a full sense of where the characters are emotionally, even if it’s all going on in their heads. because we are allowed to understand them. we get why they tick. and how they fall or maybe how they realize how far they’ve fallen, oh-so-long ago.
