surely supernatural: give up the ghost by jenn burke

book 2 in the not dead yet series, picks up not long after book 1 ends. in give up the ghost, wes and hudson are making a go of things, except that wes is keeping a very big secret from his vampire lover.

there were aftereffects to the events that occurred in book 1, and i would recommend to anyone interested in picking this book up, start there. this is decidedly a continuation of the story, even though book 1 functioned as a standalone.

you continue to spend time with the crew of people we met, and a few new friends too. but this story really just continues to immerse us in this world, and i loved every second of it.

simply catching up on all things general hospital
