so i don't live in an area where i might easily glimpse the totality. which is a word i love.
i also really like the word singularity. and it's scientific meaning.
but i felt that even though i can't see the total solar eclipse, and even though i'm not entirely sure i'll be able to see the partial solar eclipse because i don't have any damn glasses. i'm kind of hoping i'll be able to access some since i work in the astronomy department. but that also involves me being more of a joiner at the office than i am generally speaking.
anyway, the whole thing is cool. and just worth commemorating with a special total eclipse blog post.
and this video is so weird and fantastical that it deserves some recognition today.
i mean, every single time someone says total eclipse, this song is in my head.
